Lost in Translation Bill Murray

B-Murrs proves that he is not a one trick pony with his serious role in Sophia Coppola’s Lost in Translation. His perfectly mopey and hopeless character is a washed up actor who finds himself in Japan shooting a cheesy Japanese commercial for Santori whiskey . His heavy eyeliner and the cringeworthy catch phrase, “ For a relaxing time, make it a Santori Time,” is all around perfection. You can’t help but swoon over the losery- yet charming Bill take out Scarlett Johansson all over Japan with an adorable drunk karaoke scene.
Wes Anderson Bill Murray

This magical pairing all began with Rushmore, where Murray plays a depressed multimillionaire who in Budweiser-clad swim shorts drunkenly jumps into a pool at a party. Also who doesn’t love him as the harmless neurologist who comes second place to his wife in the Royal Tennenbaums and his awkward cameos in just about any other Wes Anderson film.

Bill Murray’s wardrobe mostly shines on the golf course where he has been spotted wearing party favor straw hats, Guy-Fieri esque fiery short sleeve button downs and a visor, and Pabst Blue Ribbon swim trunks. He is also known for showing up on David Letterman’s show dressed up as Liberace, Peter Pan and a Jockey.
Posed for his own Christmas card as a grown ass man.

No explanation necessary.
Instead of autographs he will agree to starring in a short film.
When a fan asked Murray for an autograph instead he gave him a short film of him walking in slow motion. (The fan also happened to be a film maker, and you’ll also probably never meet the mysterious enigma that is Bill Murray.) So watch!!
